Congratulations to White Horse Harriers member Jessica Harrison who finished 12th in the Olympic Triathlon in Beijing where she was representing France. Jess has been a member of White Horse Harriers for many years having lived locally before going to University and then moving to France. This is a fantastic performance that gives us great inspiration to do better ouselves. Jess has also asked me to pass on thanks to all those who signed the card and wished her well.
We have the final races of the Road Running Championship and then the the 08/09 Cross Country Season will be here. Details are on the 'Latest News' pages. Also we have the AGM coming up (Friday 10th October, 7.30 Old Mill Hall, Grove) and our autumn social at the Comrades Club, Wantage on Friday 28th November from 7.30pm.
